About

Dmitry Kuzovkin

I am a researcher currently based in Paris, France, specializing in the area of computer vision and machine learning. In my academic experience, I've acquired expertise in computational imaging and color science, culminating in a PhD focused on automatic photo grouping and evaluation. During my professional journey, I have worked on various topics, including photo enhancement, HDR fusion and automatic image moderation. My roles have spanned hands-on engineering experience, as well as leading teams of researchers and engineers. Together, we have worked on the entire lifecycle of ML products: from initial strategy and prototyping to data collection, model training and deployment.

I'm deeply interested in the intersection of computer vision and photography, as well as the potential of generative AI across various domains, including a multi-modal perspective. I'm also passionate about photography, where on a personal note, my love for photography is inspired by the works of Saul Leiter, Ernst Haas, and the paintings of Edward Hopper.

At this website you can see my research activity and discover the photographs that I've taken over the last few years. And feel free to write me a message.
